Hey - I have boxes for ya..............I"m hording them still -  I'll put them in my car tomorrow night.....I think that I have about 5 of them right now................are you all car-pooling with someone or driving yourselves?  I decided to drive instead of working the "T" system !!  lol

Good morning train riders...I'm off today so I actually get a chance to hop onboard.  I've had a really good week at work so far.  I had a super fun patient and family this week.  I labored her all day on Tuesday then took care of her on Postpartum Wed and Thurs.  Her Mom tried to slip me $100 after she delivered (which of course I refused) and the poor thing got her feelings hurt that I wouldn't take it.  Mom was from Iran and I think it might be customary there to tip your nurses.  So yesterday she brought 2 huge containers of brownies for the staff and the nicest letter about me which she gave to my boss. It's people like them that make all my bad days worth it. ...Sure could of used that $100 bill since I just ordered a myself a laptop for my birthday, lol...

I've got $50 Kohl's cash I need to spend today so I guess I'm just gonna have to drag myself to the store...tough job.  Also need to run to Tom Thumb, they're having a good sale...London Broil and BL/SL Chicken breasts for $1.88/lb and JUMBO wild caught shrimp for $4.99/lb.  Time to get out my vacuum sealer and freeze some stuff.

 

Hey You Guys!

I am at the jr high this morning and then onto a different elementary campus this afternoon. CRAZY! lol

The county livestock show was yesterday. Kaylee did really well. She placed 2nd, 3rd and I think 4th for her does, 8th, 8th, 2nd and 3rd - I think- for her wethers. The BIG news is that she WON Sr. Reserve Championship for Showmanship. I am a proud mamma! Tomorrow is the sale, so hopefully she'll score on scholarship money.

Bailey placed 7th so we are hoping she made sale as well. She also got 5th for her cookies in the youth fair. Addison made a feeder for livestock and got 86/100 points for it. Way awesome!!! It's been a great few days!

I am finally back to work today. I was out Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday they sent me home. I am finally feeling somewhat human again. I am hoping things continue this way so that I can be prepared for surgery on Wednesday. I am READY!

Tonite we are going to Dirk's nephew's school's dinner and auction. Tomorrow is the get-together. Hope everyone can make it! I may have lunch with a long time friend that I have been out of touch with for the last few months. He has gotten really sick and when anything happens he only concentrates on work and shuts his friends out. I finally went and saw him at work and made him talk to me. They don't know what exactly is wrong, so please say prayers that his doctors find something soon.

Gotta get to my lifeskills class for some more therapy!
